So, I saw this challenge at weheartsims and decided to give it a go, as I love tweaking sims with CC, and it's good practise for me to get back into my sims things. Here are the results. Custom content used on the sims is located at the bottom of the entry.

Title comes from: Gethsemane (I Only Want to Say) from Jesus Christ Superstar.

(Original/Unedited)For the first makeover, I gave her a slightly librarianesque look, with simple clothes and makeup along with the glasses. I chose the hair because it showed off her ears....which I then forgot to show in the pictures *facepalm*

(Original/Unedited)FOr her second makeover, I turned her into a gothy alien. Because that really makes sense. Underneath the eyeshadow!brows and dyed hair she's blonde.

Story: Welcome to Discordia : Prologue

Welcome to Discordia; a small, quiet little town on the edge of nowhere. People never last long in Discordia stopping only to take a break on their life's journey, before leaving - only memories to show that they were ever there at all. But yet, there are those that persevere. Those that continue to stay despite knowing that they shouldn't - that this town will not bring them the happiness, or perhaps salvation, that they desire in their hearts. They know this place is toxic, a poison that corrupts them to the very core. But still they stay.

Some bury themselves in learning, to avoid falling into a monotony of ignorance, unable to answer the questions of the world. Their lack of faith in themselves drives them forwards - attain ultimate knowledge, and attain perfection.

Others, surround themselves with luxury and lust during the day, and yet return to solitude once night falls. They crave emotion and feeling, instead of the emptiness inside that threatens their existence.

Every person has a different way of coping with the challenges life throws at them. Some take them in their stride, whilst others worry about the way it will affect them. Then there are the few who grow angry and blame themselves and others.

And there are those who use the monotony of life in Discordia as an escape from the realities that plague them, haunting their every nightmare, waking them up screaming night after night.

So, long long after the death of the Dante legacy (does anyone actually remember Laguna and co?) I've finally got off my backside and gone back into legacy territory. It's odd to be back to be honest. Before I start (and you can scan over this if you want) I have some things I need to say:

This legacy will only be five generations long. I don't have enough time to take it to ten, and I'm not sure if my computer could handle it.

This legacy has a naming theme. And my best friend decided it would be musical theatre/musicals.

Updates may be sporadic. I'm not the most consistent of people normally, and with my working 16 hours a week - two nights and the weekend - my play time is often short.

For those of you who are wondering, Musikalisch is (apparently) German for musical. Once again, blame my best friend.

Warnings: Language. Copious amounts of Woo-Hoo. Sadness. Awesome cops. Not awesome pop culture references. REALLY bad jokes. 100 images. Lots of Damning of Gadwin. Glittery ALLCAPS marquee.
Notes: I used Gadwin Print Screen for this entry. I won't again. For all later entries I'll be going back to Irfanview. At least that doesn't eat my images.

As is the law with all founders created after the installation of Free Time - birdwatching is the first thing she does.

... Although when you look at what she has, it's understandable.

Now she's put down the binoculars, ladies and gentlemen; I give you Mag. Named after Magdalene "Blind Mag" DeFoe from Repo! The Genetic Opera". As you should be able to work out from this picture, she's a Knowledge/Grilled Cheese Virgo who likes Blonds in makeup, and would like to Become Education Minister.

Your typical legacy shack. It's on a 4x4 lot, as my computer still cries at 5x5 ones. You can't really tell from this picture, but each room has a base colour that all the furniture conforms to.

This image is just an ordinary image of a slim reading a book, yes?

no... apparently Mag is the first sim I've ever had to autonomously study cooking. I didn't even know they could do that :\

Well, it isn't. No teachers needed, so Mag takes the highest paying job of the day - as a police officer.

Funnily enough, the first thing I did after getting a job was play the sims. Art imitating life.
Mag: No! Shower then sleep!

I think Mag may just by my best sim ever. Not only does she autonomously study - she cleans up after herself too. No prizes for guessing what she had though.

Mag: Hi there cute blond stranger. Please come into my ~~lair~~ humble abode.

Mag: So. Grilled Cheese. Isn't it something? I mean with all it's gooey tastiness and it's full of calcium which is good for your body and stuff.

Unfortunately, all their interactions were like this. When I finally sent him home they were at something like -10/-1

I somehow missed how she met this guy, or who contacted who first, but she's on the phone to someone called Horatio Marama.

...So I must have missed something else (Screw you Gadwin Print Screen - I'm going back to Irfanview) as she has a TV in her inventory. Perhaps Horatio is one of those AL townies?

...Wait. What?! No seriously, they went inside, did this for a few minutes and then stood up and got dressed. My reaction? D:

I missed a picture of it (Freaking Gadwin), but she asked him on a date. Here we can see that he's a family sim who is obsessed with her already. Oh goodie.

Date staple #1: Slow dancing, complete with staring into one anothers eyes.

Date staple #2: Playful flirting, with massive smiles.

Date staple #3: Jumping straight into bed with someone you barely know.

We have no room for virgins here.

I always thought the kissing came before the sex? The Sims 2™; Providing Education to the Masses.

Apparently they like being public? It doesn't look like Regina Shepherd minds much though.

Mag: I know we first met online, and that we've known each other just over 24 hours...
Horatio: ?

Mag: Will you marry me?

I'm not giving him a chance to get away. Not after the first rejection.

Horatio Marama Musikalisch is a Family/Knowledge Cancer whose ambition in life is to have 3 of his children graduate college. He likes makeup and jewelery wearing sims, but not if they're robots. He's also currently a Home Video Editor and with the items in his inventory he added §7012 to our family funds.

And once Mag gets back from work - no promotion though - they do. Attempt #1: No joy.

Attempt #2: Lots of barking and fireworks. No baby jingle.

I really liked the lighting in this shot. I thought it was really pretty.

Attempt #3: Nothing

I've never seen THIS face before... this was almost the teaser too. Attempt #5: Nada.

...I've also got no hair left on one side of my head.

Continuing our run of Good Fortune, Mag's dream job appears on the computer...

I dashed over to check on Mag, and make sure she was okay...

...just to find that Inteen had decided to remind me it was installed D:

She decides to drown her sadness in Grilled Cheese, before going to conceive another child. (Which I missed. Like I'm missing Irfanveiw right now...)

I had my 'D:' face ready, but it was only her comfort bottoming out.
Mag: Ugh. Pregnancy.

Horatio: I can see my townie child friend from here!

A chance card. I 'umm'ed and 'err'ed over it for a few minutes before I chose.

Yay! I got it right. but with odds like 54/45 (according to Snooty Sims) that was a close one.

Baby! Well, it's a pop...
Mag: Awhuh?

Since Mag is with child, and they had enough money, I rebuilt their house. Here's the only exterior shot. complete with walkby, and Horatio returning from work.

Enter through the front door and you have the living room. Just out of shot to the right is the computer, and to the left, the door to the hall.

The hallway part one, the door on the left goes to the living room, and the door on the right leads to the -

Bathroom. It's a bit empty, but money was running low by the time I hit here.

Hallyway part two. It's really empty as money was again running low. The three doors are; Mad & Horatio's room, the nursery, and the Kitchen/Dining Room.

The master bedroom - complete with sleeping Mag, and several musical posters.

The empty nursery. Done in an almost gender neutral colour, and not furnished due to: 1. Lack of funds and 2. Lack of babies.

The kitchen area. Bright with just enough room for two sims... and an egg holder on the corner.

And the dining room area. Small, but with enough room to expand when the time arises.

The first thing Horatio does upon returning home? This. How surprising. Nothing happens for a while after this, so I didn't take any photos.

blackmagesims: Hi there! You must be Xavier Knight come to rob us, right?
Xavier: Heh heh heh *sneaks*
blackmagesims: There are two fatal flaws in your plan...

The burglar alarm, fitted right beside the main door...

...and Mag. Asleep on the sofa.

However, when it comes to it, Mag is useless.
Mag: Aw, hell no! Not my microphone!

Luckily, Alien Cop: Mary Klein is here to help.

Mag: Ugh, he's hideous!
I don't think that's an appropriate reaction to getting burgled...

...And neither is that!

Luckily, Alien Cop: Mary Klein is one of the useful ones (maybe she saw Mag at the police station one night or something?)

After the house remodelling. and having to replace the mic, we're pretty short on money. Mag needs a charisma point for a promotion when she gets back to work, so I get her writing an article.
Mag: And this concludes "Makeup. Why Men Should Wear It"

Mag: Oof! Kicker.

As well as sending him slightly insane, Horatio's abduction has awoken his ~*~creativity~*~

And turned him into a ~*~ballerina~*~

Mag earns §5000 and goes into labour - in the bedroom, not the bathroom. Accidental cliffhanger, as I didn't get a picture of the results. You'll have to come back for those.

As it (sort of) says on the banner - I took the iris from Ephemera's "Mist Eye" desaturated and brightened it, before recolouring 19 times and slapping it on Anva's sclera.
